The upsurge in DLC releases hasn't just given gamers more reasons to play and replay their games again and again (and spending more money in the process, more often than not), it has also given rise to actual trailers for downloadable content. Trailers like this new one for Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta DLC.

Earlier we heard about Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360) getting DLC, and now Ubisoft has confirmed that they're already planning downloadable content for Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) as well.

Looks like Mass Effect will be gracing your gaming machine soon, as BioWare officially announced that the RPG action game had just gone gold.
