The country may be experiencing some economical doldrums, but the gaming industry shows promise that not only will it keep rolling, it will even roll better and rake cash in the process. Several analysts even admit that they have greatly underestimated the industry's performance for this month. Read more in the full article! |

Okay, so this is definitely not new. Since it was introduced years ago, Spore (PC, Nintendo Wii, DS, Mac, and Mobile) has often been thought to be one of the games to bring new blood to the saturated PC gaming market by way of being the segment's best seller once it's released. But Electronic Arts just wants its investors to know that the company's feeling optimistic about the sim-strategy title, and Michael Pachter predicts more or less of the same. |

Microsoft and Bungie Studios' Halo 3
is hands down the standard by which video game sales success is
measured these days, but analyst Jesse Divnich of simExchange says that
things just might get a little tighter in the FPS market. The Arrival
of A-list shooters such as The Orange Box and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC)could weaken Halo 3 sales dramatically in the weeks to come leading to the holidays. |
