Precise passing in Speedball 2 for the PC simplified - Image 1A problem that sports games like Frogster Interactive and Kylotonn Studios' Speedball 2 has to face is the proper implementation of a good passing system. The development team of the game has listened to the feedback from the gaming community and has chosen a solution to the problem: auto aiming.

Speedball 2 now features automatic detection of team members in range of a pass, simplifying the gameplay. Different passes are handled though the touch of a button with players receiving immediate information regarding alternative passing opportunities.

Visual cues such as nearby and distant players being marked by differently highlighted circles also help in decision making as you play.

While the ball is in transit, players instantly take control of the receiver, making gameplay more seamless and fluid. It was said in the press release that "one-twos" and advanced tactical moves which involve multiple outfield players can be easily pulled off using the implemented passing system. In addition to this, the receiving player will be given the option to touch-pass the ball back to the sender to avoid losing possession.

Gamers who are screaming sacrilege can relax because auto-aiming can be toggled off, allowing you to experience the eight-directional shots that were present in the original game. All in all, this is a great move by the developers of Speedball 2 since both the new and old gamers will be able to enjoy this game according to their preferences.

Crusaders: Invasion of Constantinople - Image 1

Kylotonn Studios recently announced the development of Crusaders: Invasion of Constantinople, their latest title, in a recent press conference held in Paris. Branded as an Action/Adventure game, Crusaders: Invasion of Constantinople will be available for the PC and next-gen consoles.

Set in near the end of the 12th century, players get to choose between three knights of the Fourth crusade. Fighting against the Byzantine Empire, players get to choose from a list of over a hundred weapons, attain new skills by becoming the apprentice of various fencing masters, and lead a squadron of 4 mercenaries as you strive to achieve your goals. With around 20 distinct medieval settings, battle your way through the era's richest city, Constantinople, in full 3D.

Kylotonn Studio Creative Director Yann Tambellini promises a dazzling experience "which will transport gamers beyond traditional RPG Dungeons". With their work on games like Ironstorm, Bet on Soldier, and Speedball 2, the independent Parisian studio has had strong experience in the action games genre.
