As of press time, "soon" is ticking at T-minus 3 days and 16 hours. Gas Powered Games' Dungeon Siege-gone-zero gravity has been silent as of late in the press, but it seems that the developers have not been slacking in Space Siege's development. In a few days, we'll be able to see whether the time spent since the last gameplay montage has improved, and what the sci-fi action RPG has to offer us. On ot the full story for just a little more. |

With the recent E3 announcement of upcoming F.E.A.R. expansion packs (for the PC and Xbox 360), a lot of us might be wondering what we can expect. We've seen screenshots just the other day, but here's something better: an actual gameplay montage of the F.E.A.R. Proteus Mandate.
Now, remember that Halo 3 video from a few months back that showed nothing but pwnage, pwnage, pwnage? This probably follows in that tradition, but takes pwnage up a notch. Frags in this video are shown in the glory that is "reflex time." Slow-mo, for the F.E.A.R.-deprived. Shooting down enemies, pinning them onto a wall by firing a dart through their head, and blowing them up into itty-bitty pieces that would fit nicely in Hannibal Lecter's little Tupperware containers... All the brutality looks so much better with stylized visuals in reflex time. The F.E.A.R. Proteus Mandate expansion on the PC is to be released simultaneously with its Xbox 360, F.E.A.R. Files (which contains Proteus Mandate and Extraction Point), this fall. |

Jaw-dropping graphics and intense firefight sequences in this first E3 trailer of Midway's BlackSite: Area 51. While we've certainly seen quite a few gameplay videos of the the highly-anticipated FPS title for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, this trailer pretty much takes what we think we know of the game and just amplifies it to the power of awesome.
In this video, we get to a sneak peek at what looks to be the beginnings of BlackSite: Area 51 - where you're still gunning down enemy soldiers of the regular human variety. Things start to go downhill fast as the video segues into a frantic montage of alien-blasting action, from cyborgs to mutants to a giant hydra monster with tentacles large enough to snatch your own chopper out of the sky. Intense stuff, this. No more spoilers from us, enjoy the video. You won't be disappointed. |

Kaos Studios general manager Frank DeLise sat down for an interview with GameSpot about Frontlines: Fuel of War. As you know, Frontlines: Fuel of War, to be released fall of this year, focuses on a near-future conflict between the Western Coalition and the Red Star Alliance based on energy crisis caused by worldwide fuel shortages.
The game, to be released for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC gaming platforms, features a nonlinear single-player campaign in which each side attempts crush the opposing frontlines to gain more territory; only one proving victorious in the end. To give you a better idea of how the gameplay will look like, here's a gameplay montage of Frontlines: Fuel of War. You can also listen to Kaos Studios' DeLise's account of the gameplay, whose video is available on the download link below. Download Frontlines: Fuel of War interview |

You know, nuclear holocausts are all fun and games until someone gets hurt. That's why when someone says, "Don't push the red button that says 'Nuclear Apocalypse,'" you should probably listen. Let's see this hypothetical situation between two guys at the local power plant and the untimely interruption of resident Chernobyl idiot Leeroy Jenkilonskilov.
Chekov: Well, we've probably got the preparations all done for radiation shielding. Vlad, can you do a quick number crunch on how good our protection is? Vlad: Hmmm... I'd say we'd have a 99.9% chance of never having a nuclear mess on our hands. Repeating, of course. Chekov: Good Vlad. Now, all we have to do is dismantle the "Nuclear Apocalypse" button and we're all... Leeroy: LEEROY! JENKILONSLIKOV! *slams on the red button marked "Nuclear Apocalypse"* *Insert nuclear screwup here* Chekov: Damn it, Leeroy! We just said not to touch that! Now look, we're all... still alive? Sweet! Well, since the plant's all messed up, maybe we should head back home. Hey, why's the scenery changing so quick? We're pretty sure that's not the way Chernobyl went, but in the alternate timeline for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, it could have happened that way. There's not a lot of other ways that people could survive that blast and happen to live with really bad mutations otherwise, right? While we're waiting for the game to come out in March, feel free to see this trailer for the game. It's a montage of sorts between the moments of the real Chernobyl event and the interspersing of GSC Game World's alternate history during the latter half of the trailer. Till then, someone better tell THQ to make sure we get the best product possible. Just remember. War and death are real. The holocaust is real. We might joke about it, but it's still a serious subject you might want to research on so you can distinguish fact from fiction. |

Days after the rumors revolving around CoD 4 and Infinity Ward spread, the latter still refuses to comment on the matter and remains tight-lipped. However, the developer's silence is not exactly without a crack as their latest action somewhat betrays their future intentions and plans.Infinity Ward just re-launched its official site, adding community-focused features as well as updating its networking and communication capabilities. "We worked with our fans to create a web site that speaks to their interests and in order to create an environment where fans can stay informed, express themselves and connect with one another," says Community Manager Robert Bowling. Aside from sections devoted to the history of various installments of the Call of Duty franchise, strategy guides, IRC links and fan/clan web site tool kits, here are the major developments added to their site:
