Leafmore High's Scooby Gang must have thought that they'd left the horrors they experienced when they graduated from high school, but they were wrong. Who'd have thought that there was more to come in college?

A few months back, we reported on Playlogic Entertainment and Hydravision Entertainment's announcement of ObsCure's sequel. Today, we've got some eye candy for you in the form of a gameplay trailer and a batch of screenshots for ObsCure II (PS2, PC, and Wii).

The gang's back and they find themselves in another sticky situation two years after the first video game. It seems that they've found new friends as the character artwork shows a couple of new faces (Mei, Sven, Stan, Amy, Shannon, Corey, and Kenny). Anyway, they find a strange plant in campus and things for crazy again. We'll be seeing more of that as ObsCure II's release comes closer but in the meantime, let's settle for the screenshots, character art, and trailer. Oh, and watch out for that giant orchid... it looks a bit carnivorous to me.

Check out the screenshots and character art after the jump!

Coming your way soon... - Image 1

With the release of Playlogic's new third-person shooter Infernal due this year, the company has released the latest batch of screenshots for this game to show everyone just what the devs have been working on.

Developed by the Polish studio Metropolis, the game boasts of high-quality graphics, as devs make use of Ageia PhysX software to create the environment in which the hero of the story will be placed. And speaking of heroes, this game has one named Ryan Lennox who just so happens to be a fallen angel with the odd job of having to restore the balance between good and evil.

Hot and spicy, or completely fizzled out? We'll find out soon enough.

Age of Pirates v1.5 patch

I'm telling you, if I'm not writing about zombies, it's pirates. And now I get to talk about both: zombie pirates! How could it get any better than this? All this is possible with the new Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales v1.5 patch. It's strongest point is that this patch will now allow gamers to mod the game to their own liking.

Playlogic's game can now be customized with your own scripts, thus allowing you to create your own version of the game: new quests, new maps, different interfaces, or, if you're a geek like me, create zombie pirates! This patch will make the game richer and wider than ever. Chief Technology Officer Dominique Morel seems to confirm this and says that "Thanks to this 'modability', the only limit is the talent and the imagination of the fans. We are eager to see with what they will come up with."

Aside from the modability provided by the patch, it will also improve the game's performance and stability. Some of the game's interfaces have been overhauled to make it more user-friendly and features like the item/quest generator have also been made efficient to make your gaming experience fresher and more unique.

So, does anyone want to help me with the zombie pirate mod?

InfernalAncient Wars:Sparta - Image 2

Infernal and Ancient Wars: Sparta, two PC games from Playlogic Entertainment, were picked up by Eidos Interactive for global distribution. Playlogic is counting on Eidos' wide distribution network and expertise in pushing games to bring the two upcoming titles in the spotlight. Eidos' track record includes the kick-ass Tomb Raider franchise, so Infernal and Ancient Wars: Sparta are in great hands.

Infernal is a 3rd person shooter from Polish developer Metropolis. Its main character is a fallen angel named Ryan Lennox whose has been recruited by the man in the red suit (not Santa but Satan) to help restore the balance between Good and Evil. The game uses the Ageia PhysX software which delivers stunning and realistic effects as well as support the Ageia PhysX card.

Ancient Wars: Sparta from Russian developer World Forge is a true RTS game. It is set in the Mediterranean between 500 and 450 B.C. and is based on historical accurate settings. Players get to lead the Spartans, Egyptians or Persians all duking it out for supremacy in the region.
