Electronic Arts just sent QJ.NET an email stating that upcoming PC title SimCity Societies has just gone gold and that mass production is ongoing as of this writing. It will be available in retail stores beginning November 13 in regions North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Staying true to the excellent simulation experience the Sims franchise has been known for, SimCity Societies put players in the middle of a society. In this game, players are not only tasked to physically build its cities but to construct its different aspects as well such as culture, behaviors, and kind of environment.

This specific iteration introduces the feature "social energies" that determine your society's characteristic. It can be creative, spiritual and knowledgeable, wealthy and powerful, and even obedient and fearful. In SimCity Societies, you can literally create Utopia or Negative Utopia (just like how the novelist George Orwell described it) based from your actions and decisions.

This one is definitely a must-try for all Sims fans and even for those who are just beginning to explore the simulation genre.
