Don't think that The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf, which was supposed to be the console version of the PC RPG The Witcher, has been canned. Yes, production has halted, but it's more a case of being put aside than total cancellation. Console gamers will still get a chance to play through the Witcher world in the sequel, though.

CD Projekt's The Witcher may not be coming to consoles anytime soon, but PC gamers are in for something even better: a sequel. Polish site Polygamia.pl recently managed to get their hands on an early presentation video of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and subsequently uploaded it for all the world to see. Those who felt that cutting the nudity out of The Witcher was a big blow to horny couch potatoes creativity can now breathe a sigh of relief - CD Projekt is excited to announce The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut, which is basically a North American release of the Euro version, so you can now enjoy the full game and some full frontal right in the comfort of your gaming rig.
