How would you like to go back in time and play as WWII pilot? And you can play either side of the fence: Allied or Axis. Attack on Pearl Harbor, from Legendo Entertainment and CDV Software Entertainment, will bring players into the cockpits of WWII fighter planes and into the skies.
Attack on Pearl Harbor promises players - both casual and hardcore gamers - fast-paced arcade action aerial dogfights. Fighter planes ranged from the Japanese Zero to the American P-38 Lightning. The title also features four solo campaigns, a "quick play" dogfight mode, and multiplayer dogfights. This second trailer features the different combat styles. Players can bomb enemy warehouses, or send ships sinking with torpedoes. Anyway, we'll leave you to watch the trailer. Attack on Pearl Harbor is set to hit the shelves in June 2007, so ready your flight suit and goggles. Oh and be sure to aim your crash right. |

The game Runaway 2: Dream of the Turtle from CDV Software Entertainment USA and Focus Home Interactive is the sequel of Runaway: A Road Adventure. The original game which was released by Pendulo Studios in 2006 is a point and click adventure game. The second iteration follows the same pattern which hearkens back to the golden age of adventure gaming (oh, how I miss the Maniac Mansion series). The story of the second...I'm not going to spoil it. Let's just say that you and a bunch of rag-tag misfits are trying to solve a mystery. The story is split up into six chapters, with more than 100 different locations to visit and see. As standard in this type of game you will find puzzles that range from mild brain teaser to mind liquefying. While it isn't necessary to have played the first iteration, fans of the first game will find familiar characters such as Joshua the mad professor, Sushi Douglas, and others. The original soundtrack for the game looks to be a very good backdrop to all the adventuring you will be doing (as if the soundtrack of the first wasn't addicting enough) with Vera( the ex-singer of Liquor) and Rykc (who made the kick@ss opening song) putting in some tunes. If this game is everything adventure gamers hope it'll be, then perhaps there is life in the adventure gaming genre yet. This game is slated for release this March 12. While waiting for the release, you can check out some of the screenshots in its cel-shaded glory. To see more screenshots, check the full article. |

Yes, the makers of the phenomenal Sacred, Sacred: Underworld, and Sacred 2: Fallen Angelhave put their heads together to make a brand new game. Only this time, it's all set in the Carribean. Someone back at Ascaron must have been pretty blown away from the latest installment of the "Pirates of the Carribean" series of movies, eh? So here we have Tortuga: Two Treasures, a game we've introduced to you before. It's definitely an adventure game that pits you, the player, to weave your way into a story line fraught with choices of friendship and treachery. So how best to know who to trust? Well, we can't be certain about that, but we can help even the odds by introducing some of the other characters you're bound to meet. You can check out the detailed stories of four characters from Tortuga: Two Treasures after the jump! |

CDV Software Entertainment USA has just released a new batch of screens for the upcoming stand-alone expansion, Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich.
As y'all probably know already, Fall of the Reich is the first official stand-alone expansion for the World War II Real-Time Strategy game for the PC called Blitzkrieg 2, and will focus on the strategic and resource-oriented gameplay that PC users enjoyed and loved in the original title. The expansion will have a mission and campaign design that provides success only to those armchair generals that employ realistic tactics and strategies, managing scarce wartime resources effectively. And because Blitzkrieg 2: Fall of the Reich isn't scheduled to wage wars on store shelves until February 22, we'll leave you with this new batch of screens to momentarily ease the pain of waiting. And while you're ogling at the screens, perhaps you can already start plotting your strategies for attack, eh? Enjoy! |

CDV Software Entertainment America has today announced that the official website for Alien Shooter: Vengeance has gone live today to the delight of fans who've been enjoying the official demo of the game since December. An action RPG, Alien Shooter: Vengeance builds upon the RPG style character building to add alien-blasting and a variety of devastating weapons, while crashing through sci-fi environments in fast and deadly vehicles. All these elements may point towards a first person shooter or a Battlefield-esque fighter but Alien Shooter: Vengeance's RPG roots are clear. The game features multiple character types and an intensive RPG skill-tree to expand the gaming experience, with multiplayer gameplay mode as a nice add-on to increase the lifespan of the game when you've exhausted the single player campaign. The website features some great screenshots of the game (actually, the first screenshots of the game released to the public), a full explanation of the story in 'the game' section, and the vehicles and weapons pages to be updated soon. There's also some Alien Shooter forums so you can go to to talk about the game or the demo! |
