The CEO and President of Crytek, Cevat Yerli, revealed that Crysis: Warhead will be quite playable on a € 400 (around US$ 621) PC, even on high settings. As advocates of rewarding legitimate PC game customers instead of punishing them, Stardock has more than once stirred the gaming populace's apprehensions over PC gaming's pitfalls and it's alleged links to piracy. Today is no exception. The publishers behind the non-copy protected Strategy First's Galactic Civilizations, GalCiv 2, and top seller Sins of a Solar Empire from Ironclad Games, talked down more on blame piracy, and why even Microsoft shouldn't be at fault either.

Now we know a lot of folk out there have been turned off by the absence of witty Jack Carver or a tropical island setting in the sequel to Game of the Year, Far Cry. After all, their argument has some sense in it: Far Cry 2 needed to be a successor to Far Cry in some degree, or else it wasn't Far Cry at all. EA and Crytek have partnered up again to introduce the recently speculated Crysis Warhead, which was often thought to be Crytek's Crysis project for consoles. It appears, however, that the majority of the rumors were wrong, and the minority was right. Crysis Warhead is the second installment to the Crysis 'verse, but it doesn't go far from the predecessor.
