Lost Planet - Image 1Apart from Capcom's official announcement at last year's E3, and the subsequent revelation that David Hayter will be hopping on board, not much has been known or heard about the movie adaptation of Lost Planet (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC). Thanks to Jun Takeuchi, we're learning more about the project, and what do you know, it won't be following the game's storylines after all.

E3 2008: Capcom announces Lost Planet movie under development - Image 1Capcom has announced over in the E3 their plans to create a movie based on Lost Planet (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC). As if that's not interesting enough, the company also detailed that the writer in charge of this production is somebody plenty of you should be very familiar with. Here's a clue: He's a chain-smoker, wears an eye patch, and has a strange interest in cardboard boxes. More details are available in the full article.
