Good news, PS3 owners. DICE and Electronic Arts have officially set a date for Battlefield: Bad Company 2's PS3 beta: November 19. PC gamers, on the other hand, will get in on an open beta in December. There will also be a demo launching early next year. Beta details and an announcement trailer are available after the jump.

All these armor freebies for Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360, PC) are frankly starting to get a bit ridiculous. Pre-order incentives (including one for a totally different game) are already giving away free special armor for Commander Sheppard, and now EA has announced another way for gamers to score some limited edition duds for the good commander.

Electronic Arts, through its Sims Studio, has sent out word that The Sims 3 will soon get its first expansion pack now that it has officially gone gold. "World Adventures" will be available on November 17th in North America and will be in stores worldwide the same week. Details right here.

We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be getting a Limited Edition version too. The good news is it won't cost you a penny more than the standard edition. It'll come with six customization unlocks that give players an advantage in multiplayer matches at the same price as the standard edition. Details past the jump.

Electronic Arts has detailed the launch DLC line up for BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins. Similar to what Microsoft and Turn 10 are doing for Forza Motorsport 3, this seems like a plan to trip up used game sales. Details after the jump.

Electronic Arts is most certainly proud to announce today the record-breaking launch of the latest iteration in the FIFA videogame franchise, FIFA 10 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2 and PC). In its first week alone, said title has earned over 1.7 million copies throughout European retail.

I missed this, but apparently a couple of months back there was talk about Visceral Games working on a Jack the Ripper game. Nothing definite followed it up, but recent trademark filings by Electronic Arts seem to indicate that the rumor holds some water.
