I missed this, but apparently a couple of months back there was talk about Visceral Games working on a Jack the Ripper game. Nothing definite followed it up, but recent trademark filings by Electronic Arts seem to indicate that the rumor holds some water.

Electronic Arts may not be saying much about Dead Space 2, but professional networking site LinkedIn has stepped in to fill the void. A new job posting on the site from EA senior recruiter Jeff Ballard sheds some light on the game's current status.

Publisher EA Australia said last week that they're "still working through the submission process with OFLC." It seems they've since become much more candid about the issue, however, as they've finally issued a comment.
