ArmA II is finally making its way to the US, thanks to publisher Got Game Entertainment. Bohemia Interactive's battlefield simulator has been in circulation in the European gaming market since last week.

 Following the government decision to uphold PEGI as the sole and official ratings board in UK, the BBFC has sent their well-wishes, albeit still with that restrained barb. BBFC Director David Cooke insisted that the BBFC would have been the better choice. Meanwhile, top industry heads are giving their praises for the government's pick. Ubisoft has finally set a date for Ezio's arrival in Europe. Assassin's Creed 2 will be released in Europe on November 20, three days after the game hits US retail stores. Eurogamer also reports that the game's Black Edition will be available in the UK through Play. More details after the jump.

I guess we're still playing the "Where in the world is Sam Fisher" game. An update has been made to the so-far cryptic website for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360) title that is set to be delivered by Ubisoft. 2K Games has finally set your date with Big Daddy, but just like a real date juggler, the Big Daddies of BioShock 2 won't be ringing doorbells on the same night. I actually did a double-take on this press release right here. Reading the title, I was like, "no way" and then "yes way" and then "whooooa." Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC, which have been reaffirmed by Pete Hines to be exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC, will now also be coming to the PS3 starting this June! And what's more is that not one - but two new DLC add-ons are planned after Broken Steel for all three platforms!

Two years ago, Atari Europe was fortunately in the safe zone, despite the mother company's grim and disheartening financial report of Q2 2007. Back then, the problem was isolated only to the US offices, and the Atari branch was said to be unharmed by the restructuring overseas. Today, however, Atari Europe is no more, now having been officially acquired by Namco Bandai.

Is it or is it not coming? Capcom now seems to be taking back its announcement on a Lost Planet 2 for the PC. It came out last week included in the full E3 '09 line-up for the publisher, and specified as "Currently 360, PC".

Microsoft Europe's David Gosen has questioned the gaming industry's seasonal approach to game releases in a recent interview with MCV. According to Gosen, the focus on Q4 and Christmas releases has put the sustainability of new IP into question, and that a second or third release window will be good news for the industry.
