Electronic Arts is most certainly proud to announce today the record-breaking launch of the latest iteration in the FIFA videogame franchise, FIFA 10 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2 and PC). In its first week alone, said title has earned over 1.7 million copies throughout European retail.

EA Sports confirmed the release date for their multiplatformer sports title, FIFA 10. Their press release on their official page sets the date for the game kickoff to be on October 2nd.

Soccer fans, be confused no more: Konami decided to unify the Winning Eleven series under a single, consistent name - at least in the Western front. The company has confirmed that the title for Winning Eleven Soccer for US fans will now stay similar to the European version, Pro Evolution Soccer.
