Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened packshot - Image 1The game's afoot and who better to solve the mystery than the great fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes himself? Frogwares Studios' third Sherlock Holmes video game will also be distributed by CDV Software Entertainment along with Focus Home Interactive.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will center on the detective tackling a mystery surrounding supernatural events concerning the Old Gods. It has mixed the elements of the Cthulhu mythos and the classic mystery solving of Arthur Conan Doyle's great detective. Reportedly, the game will be on a first person perspective (which will certainly bring the sense of being immersed in the game) but will still have the point and click elements of the previous adventure games.

This PC game will be stalking to the shelves in North America come September. We'll be shelling out more information on this once the clues become available. So put on your deerstalker caps and stay tuned for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened.

Literary fans have argued endlessly which brand of mythology is the best ever told in man's history. There's never been a clear answer to that, but Focus Home Interactive is giving you a game called Loki to help you decide. Offering four mythical backgrounds, the game gives you the chance to run through four distinct realms: Egyptian, Aztec (American Indian), Greek and Norse.

Even the way you run through the game will be determined by your taste. You will choose to play as one of four character types. You can be a brazen Norse warrior, an Aztec Shaman, an Egyptian sorcerer and a Greek fighter. This trailer highlights the power-play style of the Norse Warrior, and it looks like those giant spiders and mystic wolves will get one vicious clobbering when the group's resident brute gets his hand on them.

Like other PC RPGs of its kind, the game will sport a barrage of items that will aid you in your quest. Mummies, skeletons and harpies can be a pain in the neck, and bosses like Medusa and Fafnir can be downright deadly if you don't have the right gear. Fortunately, Thor's Hammer and Achilles' Armor along with other legendary trinkets will be there. Hands down, Loki is one of those PC releases that you can't afford to miss.

Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2007 will be released on the PC and PSP platforms - Image 1

To those of you who have been following Tour de France, be informed that it's just a matter of weeks before the 94th outing officially begins. And to those who are following the video game title based on this event, know that the official website of Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2007 has just been updated.

The game itself sports two major elements: management and racing. You're given the option to manage official teams like handling contracts, training camps, transfers, and equipment, and that even includes dealing with the media. In addition to all that, you will also race through the circuit with the knowledge of your team's strengths and tactics.

The game is being developed by Cyanide Studio and will be published by Focus Home Interactive. Take note that Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France is a long-running franchise, but this is actually the first time that it will be appearing on a handheld system: the PSP.

This is the very reason why the two companies have been telling everyone that the PlayStation Portable version is not a port of the PC one. Tour de France 2007 PSP will feature 20 official teams and their star racers, not to mention several features like five season-long careers and modes such as time trials, sprint phases, and shorter races.
