Visually speaking, the cutesy, cartoony Mini Ninjas is probably as far as IO Interactive can get from their usual blood-drenched action games. While I was a bit blindsided by the game's announcement early this year, it really does grow on you after a while. If you're interested in giving this a spin, you'll be glad to know that the game's PS3, Xbox 360, and PC demos will be available this week.

Eidos president Ian Livingstone was the one who broke news of a new Hitman game from IO Interactive a few months back, and now he has reiterated that the Hitman franchise is sitting squarely in IO's corner.

After the Gerstmann controversy has subsided, we thought news about Kane and Lynch will just be confined to DLCs. However, Eidos' Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) may not be done yet - its ad campaign has just been banned for its graphic violence. More details after the jump.

There are a lot of things that could go wrong in a bank heist, and in Eidos Interactive and IO Interactive's Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for the PC, Sony PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Xbox 360, it's getting stabbed - or shot - in the back that you have to really worry about. Eidos Interactive has some good news for gamers eagerly awaiting the release of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. The title has already reached gold status and will be in stores across the U.S. a full ten days before its expected November 23 release.

"We are excited to ship Kane & Lynch: Dead Men earlier than expected and get a jump on the holiday season," said Robert Lindsey, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Eidos Inc. "Kane & Lynch will offer something entirely fresh and unique in terms of narrative depth and character, but also as a next-generation action title."

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will be available for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 home video game consoles as well as the PC gaming platform on November 13. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is developed by IO Interactive, the team behind the award-winning Hitman series. Jesper Kyd, who provided the score for the Hitman series, will also be scoring Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.
