Its just as the title says. Electronic Arts' Mass Effect game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Mass Effect Galaxy, is now on the App Store, and it looks like it does tie in to Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360 and PC). Details after the jump.

We've had Tecmo, then Sega, now the spotlight turns to Electronic Arts as the publisher now reveals its lineup for the coming Electronic Entertainment Expo. The publisher has whipped out a huge list of games, spanning across all gaming platforms, including ones from the EA Sports and EA Mobile divisions. Complete list after the jump.

Still not failing to impress, a new trailer for Terminator: Salvation has surfaced. Put on your best "Christian Bale goes psycho" impression and blast those chrome heads to oblivion, why don't you? Yeah, in this trailer, we get to see him do his thang: duck-and-cover, slide-and-crouch, and the usual blow-everything-to-bits psycho tactics.

Housemarque, the Finnish development studio behind Super Stardust HD, has revealed that they currently have three new game IPs in the works. The studio also plans to try their hand at self-publishing with one of their new IPs, Rope.

When you're talking about Square Enix in a global scale, there's no doubting that they've managed to rake in huge amounts of sales for all their franchises. Final Fantasy? Kingdom Hearts? And of course, the more recently acquired Tomb Raider? How do they all stack up against each other? It's not surprising that they're raking sales by the millions for these big franchises. I'm just left wondering... how do they fare against lifetime sales for MGS, GTA, CoD, and the like?

Great news for retro gamers everywhere: ScummVM has been updated to version 0.12.0, with added support for several games (check out the list of games in the full article). Versions have been released for several platforms, including the PC, Wii, PSP, and iPhone.

The Need for Speed ProStreet gig didn't work out for Electronic Arts and internal studio Black Box, but the superstar publisher decided they could still make a turnaround for the franchise again, starting with Need for Speed Undercover. Perhaps guided by the popularity of night and illegal street racing movies, Need for Speed Undercover's design resettled for the open sandbox design of Most Wanted with a different story. A story, they say, that will include Mission Impossible 3's Maggie Q.

After all the delays and the setbacks, publisher Electronic Arts has finally raised the green flag on its upcoming life simulation game, Spore (PC, Nintendo Wii, DS, Mac, and Mobile), and is ready to ship the much awaited title by next month. The company earlier announced that Spore has finally gone gold is now currently in the manufacturing process. Check out further statements issued by EA after the jump.

So it would appear that some third-party developers are getting what Stardock meant - the fate of PC gaming is on the hands of the developers. BioWare, a reputable PC developer of the past, has also expanded to the console market like many others, but they aren't about to abandon the gaming platform. Speaking to MTV, CEOs Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk said that the role-play experts might keep developing PC exclusives in the long run.
