Just like almost every major Japanese game development and publishing company, Koei Tecmo has launched their own special Tokyo Game Show 09 website. Included in the site is a list of the games they will be showing off at the event. Hit the jump for the full list.

The global population may be ballooning like mad, but Koei Tecmo seems to think that there aren't enough Dynasty Babies to form a strikeforce. If China has the One-Child policy to discourage procreation, Koei Tecmo does the exact opposite, providing monetary incentives for their employees to have more babies.

While this week's crop of new games doesn't really scream "Triple-A", it is noteworthy for having Patapon 2, the vanguard/forward scout for Sony's foray into digital distribution for the PlayStation Portable. Other picks this week include the release of the Wii version of Namco's PlayStation original, Klonoa. PC gamers also get a one-two-three punch from Crytek and EA with the compilation, CrysisCrysis: Maximum Edition. Read on for the rest of this week's video game releases.

That was a quick resolution. Unlike other acquisition stories that we know of, Tecmo and Square Enix have already settled the score. Unfortunately for Squeenix, Tecmo hearts Koei more, and so takes the gentlemanly way out.

A recent Famitsu report indicates that Koei and Omega Force's Warriors Orochi series of games for the PS2, Xbox 360, PSP, and PC has recently exceeded the 1.5 million mark for worldwide sales. A breakdown of its sales per platform is available over in the full article.

It's hacking and slashing at its best when the heroes of Ancient China come face to face with the Samurai warriors of Ancient Japan in the Warriors Orochi. Those who are waiting for the release of the PSP and PC versions of  the game will be glad to know that they've gone gold and will be released on March 25. More details in the full article.

It looks like gamers in North America will finally be able to relive the epic battles of the Three Kingdoms as Koei announced the release of Warriors Orochi for the PC and PlayStation Portable by next month. The PC version of this classic hack and slash title features enhanced graphics and will be available exclusively through digital download. The year's next batch of releases are here, and from the looks of it, games are picking up. Unlike last time, a good chunk of new titles for Nintendo's platforms compose this week's list. PC gamers fret not, because a few including a next-gen train simulator is heading to their gaming machine. Oh, and there's something for PSP owners too. Can you hear it? This week, the games are calling you to arms! Whether you'd rather pick up something state-of-the-art from Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, swords and spears from Nintendo's Fire Emblem: Dawn, light sabers and blasters from LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, or even household items from Silent Hill: Origins, there's definitely something to recruit you away from last week's releases.

If leading armies into war is your thing, have a look at Koei's Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War or Sierra Entertainment's Empire Earth III. For lighthearted fun, Sega and Nintendo are offering Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, and Square Enix has Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. You get the drill - this week is big, and November is just beginning.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The much anticipated first-person shooter which almost needs no introductions is hitting the shelves this week. Over 70 advanced authentic weapons are at your disposal in tactical combat layered with outstanding visuals and mind-blowing sounds.
