He's a future astrophysicist, a martial artist, a College Degree holder at the age of 11, and he doesn't like video games. Child prodigy Moshe Kai Cavalin graduated with honors from East Los Angeles Community College just last week, and made it known to the world that he thinks video games are "a waste of time."

The Swine Flu (now officially known as the H1N1 virus) is proving to cause a huge damper on the upcoming E3 festivities. With just literally a couple of weeks before the curtains rise to start what could be the biggest games show of the year, we have attendees going over the list and checking it twice, for fear of the said virus. Capcom Japan would be one such attendee.

With 13 confirmed cases of the H1N1 Swine Flu in California, Governor Arnie's raised a State of Emergency. If the situation doesn't improve within a month, the E3 Expo might not push through. Despite these risks, the ESA event organizers are optimistic that the E3 will indeed happen, come hell, high water, or pandemic (and by pandemic, I'm obviously not referring to the studio).

Take-Two Interactive, still hot in talks with Electronic Arts (supposedly) over their merger, has sent in its financial statement for the previous fiscal quarter. The report reveals their line-up of games for the next (fiscal) year. Details in the full article.

Though E3 hasn't seen the participation of PC gaming advocates Intel and Microsoft's Games for Windows initiative, game developer companies weren't held back from announcing their PC projects in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Electronic Arts served up another one of Crysis Warhead's gameplay trailers, only this time they've kept it focused on the action and with its original audio. This week hasn't been as interesting as the last, but owing that to the Entertainment Software Association of America and it's inability to keep prime PC developers happy in the midst of their financial backfiring. 2008's E3 Media & Business Summit is just around the corner, and though we won't hear anything Diablo-related coming from the LA Convention Center floors, there's still a few PC games aiming to make a ruckus of the console-centric show. Eidos is the latest company to announce their gaming lineup for this year's E3, which will include the latest game in the Tomb Raider franchise, and Just Cause 2. More details are available in the full article.
