Diablo III - Image 1Although Blizzard has always been one to decline from giving out any release projections unless they're damn sure they'll meet it, StarCraft II's 2010 launch seems to be firmly set in stone. Not so for Diablo III, which was most recently given one hell of a wide release window.

Another game has its street date broken again, frustrating people who haven't gotten in on those early purchases. One retailer raking in the dough out of this whole deal is GameStop, whose outlets in the Northeastern states have started selling Modern Warfare 2.

Prototype - Image 1When apocalyptic havoc threatens to extinguish mankind, the action always has to be in  New York City. How many times have we seen this city in the thick of total devastation? I've lost count. The opening cinematic for Prototype (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) also sees a completely trashed NYC, but you gotta admit, it looks bad-ass.
