Spore - Image 1Here's another million-mark breaker. Spore of Electronic Arts has broken through the big 100M creatures creation marker, with over 30 million Spore creatures uploaded to Sporepedia. And according to the press release, "that's more than 19 times the number of known species on Earth." There's also something for you if you're the creator of the lucky 100 millionth creation.

Capcom - Image 1They coined it the "triple threat of gaming excellence". We'd have to agree. Starting this July, PC gamers will get the treat of their lives from Capcom, with the launch of three great titles: Bionic Commando (Xbox 360 and PS3), Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360), and Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360 and  PS3 ). All optimized, all with new PC-specific features.

The long wait for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames finally seems to be coming to an end though, we've got the minimum and recommended specs right here. Will you need a supercomputer to run it? Will the 8800GT remain triumphant? The suspense is killing me!

Tall - Image 1Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare ran pretty darn well on just about everything and World at War is built on the same engine, so these decidedly reasonable minimum requirements come as no surprise.

Of course if you want to to play the game at a cornea melting 2560 x 1600, you might have to get one of these bad boys.

So, do you make the grade?

AMD - Image 1It's like a geek's dream come true - two ladies you've always wanted for the price (and mass-energy ratio) of one. Or something like that. While Intel's really busy with Larabee, the Germany-based Advanced Micro Devices decided that they could do with their own version of CPU-GPU technology. Everyone expected this from the beginning: the unison of CPU (AMD) and the GPU (ATI) into a mesmerizing package. How it took this long to come to realization, you won't find out at the full story. Read on for more claims, instead.
