In the midst of Leipzig Games Convention 2007 where more than a few dozen games scrambled for the crowd's attention, The Hunt was among those that could've slipped past your noses. The tandem of Orion Games and Buka Entertainment probably doesn't ring a bell, but this trailer will definitely pick a bone or two.
We haven't heard much about this dark and gritty game, but we do know The Hunt is an FPS set in 2025 where civilians get "marked" by the government; that's not a good thing, because a mark tagged on you means your head is for the taking. Motto here is: "You can run but you can't hide." The trailer runs for barely a minute, but we get some footage of The Hunt's eerie atmosphere. Various locations are showcased along with enemies we expect to encounter in the game. Check it out yourself by watching the video below. |

There's a new game coming to PC land, and we've got the scoop on it, just for you. Orion Games is busy developing their upcoming FPS game, Dusk-12. What's it about? Oh, nothing really. Just the usual soldier leading a squad. Actually, this ain't really anything ordinary, at least as far as his strengths are concerned. After all, he's got superhuman mutant strength. "Speed and fortitude beyond human limits" as they so described it. Talking to GGMania, PR manager Aliona Vasnetsova divulges details about the project. According to her, the game is set in the isolated city of the 80s of the last century. There was a virus that spread which infected the whole city, thus forcing the authorities to put a special wall around it so as to prevent further infection. Then the game fast forwards to 2025. A group of Special Forces was brought in to the city, with the mission of getting into the secret lab where the virus was born through the experiments. However, their ultimate mission will only be revealed once they get into the laboratory. But it's not as if they'll have an easy way into it. There will be dangers to face, and trust issues to confront. More screens and info after the jump! |
