Codemasters has some goodies for all of you Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PlayStation 3, Xboc 360, and PC) players as the first person tactical shooter's first DLC rolls out for its PC and Xbox 360 versions. LucasArts has announced a new piece of DLC for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed's PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in the form of a downloadable level. In addition, PC gamers will finally be able to play the game thanks to the new Ultimate Sith Edition, which is also coming to PS3, Xbox 360, and Mac. More after the jump.

Electronic Arts have announced that the critically acclaimed first-person shooter multiplayer game Battlefield 1943 will be available on July 8 on Xbox Live marketplace for 1200 MS points and on July 9 on the Playstation Network for US$ 15.00.

I actually did a double-take on this press release right here. Reading the title, I was like, "no way" and then "yes way" and then "whooooa." Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC, which have been reaffirmed by Pete Hines to be exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC, will now also be coming to the PS3 starting this June! And what's more is that not one - but two new DLC add-ons are planned after Broken Steel for all three platforms!

There's a new bill being hatched in Texas that may require convicted sex offenders to register their gamertags and other account names for online game networks like the PlayStation Network and Second Life with the fuzz. The new bill is called HB 22 and is headed to the Texas House of Representatives. If it passes there, it's next stop will be the Senate.

If some high-profile games like GTA4 have exclusive DLC on XBL, it shouldn't come as a surprise these days that other multiplatform games might go the same route: exclusive content for one console or other. Today we get word that the PS3 version of Mirror's Edge will be getting exclusive downloadable content via PSN. While this may be the case, it doesn't automatically rule out that other forms of exclusive content could also eventually arrive for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the FPS game.
