Propaganda Games' Turok PS3, Xbox 360, PC - Image 1To say that Propaganda Games' Turok (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) has a lot of dinosaurs seems like an understatement. Apparently, quite a number of these prehistoric creatures can be found lurking in the game's jungles. On that note, we were able to get hold of a list of the different creatures in the game and a video explaining the game mechanics behind the dinosaurs.

Josh Holmes: Propaganda to remove Turok's team kill achievement - Image 1An achievement that awards you for fragging  teammates during a multiplayer bout? While the thought doesn't sit well with many a gamer, Propaganda Games did have plans to implement such a Grab Bag feature for their Turok title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Turok development cycle closes, level design revealed - Image 1Josh Bridge, lead level designer from Propaganda Games, put out the word that Turok's development phase is closing, and that the epic, prehistoric first-person shooter was getting polished for its big debut early next year.

Amidst all the amazing artwork and detailed diagrams depicting unified modeling language (UML), Bridge also clued that developers were patching up the game with their own additions. These include some ideas that couldn't go in to the game earlier on in development. More in store at the full article.

Turok - Image 1Touchstone has announced that Propaganda Games' sci-fi first person shooter Turok will also be making its way to the Games for Windows platform next year. Turok was previously announced for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 next gen home video game consoles.

"First person shooters have a rich history on the Windows PC platform and are known for having enthusiastic, dedicated fans," said Josh Holmes, Propaganda Games' vice president and general manager. "Turok will be an unforgettable experience ideal for the Windows PC platform when it becomes available in 2008."

Aspyr Studios will be handling the PC port of Turok. A specific release date other than Spring 2008 has yet to be announced for the PC version of the game. The console versions are currently scheduled for release on February 8, 2008, with a demo becoming available this month.
