Activision and Radical Entertainment gives us this new trailer for their single-player thriller, Prototype (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). When they said "breed something new," they really did, and they got a cannibalistic baby which grew up to be a bad-ass with shapeshifting powers! Naturally, we get a lot of bloody dismembering and non-surgical amputation, which is a big draw for a game if you're into that sort of thing. Check it out.

Even though the movie tie-in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hasn't yet reached its June 2009 release target, Variety is reporting that according to various sources, Activision already has someone working on another Transformers game for 2010. What's more, rumor also has it that there's a new Spider-Man game in the works.

While lots of people want multiplayer modes for their games, sometimes having only single-player has its benefits. For Prototype's developers, they get to promise you one heck on an experience with Alex Mercer's crazy mutant powers.
