Game Arts, developers of the classic RPG, Lunar, once cooked up a robot shooter game back in the day. Some of our veteran readers out there may be familiar with it, but for the rest who never got to play the game, Square Enix may be reviving this old game and giving it a fresh PS3, PSP look so that gamers of the new age can enjoy an old classic.

Gotta love the Prototype vids. Let's face it - Alex Mercer is just bad-ass, and being in a bad-ass-looking game definitely scores high on the sick-o-meter. Job well done, Sierra Entertainment. This vid lives up to the standard, and the best part is: this vid has gameplay footages, so it's the closest you can come to enjoying the blood n' brutality if you haven't gotten Prototype for the PS3, Xbox 360, or PC. It's out now so this vid might make a good sales pitch.

While I still haven't gotten over the bad-ass Prototype (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) opening vid from the other day, Alex Mercer is back with a few screenshots, showing yet again how unrelentingly bad-ass he is.

While lots of people want multiplayer modes for their games, sometimes having only single-player has its benefits. For Prototype's developers, they get to promise you one heck on an experience with Alex Mercer's crazy mutant powers. One of the things to look forward to: getting to slam enemies onto a helicopter's rotors. Bzzzzzzt!

Another week of On Shelves, and the major consoles are apparently missing in action. That doesn't mean, however, that there won't be any fun to be had in this week's slew of game releases. Final Fantasy IV will finally be getting its turn in the DS spotlight, for one, and there are several other sports and adventure titles to keep you busy through the summer lull.

E3 is home to another cool trailer of Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PC). Terminal Reality seems to be doing a pretty good job with the visuals and the sound as the clip has been truly impressive. See it to believe it in the full article up ahead.

Oh noes! Another delay! Sierra Entertainment has announced that their upcoming sandbox video game, Prototype, will be pushed back until 2009. Dang. More details in the full article.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is set to be released across various platforms such as Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and PC. According to the developers behind the game, they prefer to work on the PS3 version  before they head on to the other versions. Find out the details after the jump!
