Mention Shenmue III to any Shenmue fan and you'll probably get one of two reactions: a breakdown followed by uncontrollable sobbing or a vicious and expletive -filled rant against Sega. While that series doesn't seem to be getting any closure anytime soon, series protagonist Ryo Hazuki is making a comeback of sorts. In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, no less.

E3's still a month away, but the hype's building up and game industry bigwigs are already starting to give gamers a quick taste of what to expect at E3. Today, it was Sega's turn to reveal some of the titles they'll be showing off at the expo via their Twitter account.

It looks like everyone's dishing out there own version of "Gamer's Day." Sega's own rendition, however, may be the one to stand out from the rest, since its multi-genre, multi-platform, and multi-franchise collection is studded with highly-anticipated hopefuls. So aside from Iron Man and upcoming game adaptation of The Incredible Hulk, Sega laid out teasers for fans of Aliens, Total War and the stealthy action title, Alpha Protocol.

It's difficult to imagine how to pick athletes worthy of appearing on the official Olympics video game when dozens shine during competition, but Sega has done it. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS) has reclaimed the top slot in the Chart Track top 40 entertainment software list.
