Sega teases with Sonic, Aliens, Empire Total War, Alpha Protocol on Gamer's Day 08 - Image 1It looks like everyone's dishing out there own version of "Gamer's Day." Sega's own rendition, however, may be the one to stand out from the rest, since its multi-genre, multi-platform, and multi-franchise collection is studded with highly-anticipated hopefuls. So aside from Iron Man and upcoming game adaptation of The Incredible Hulk, Sega laid out teasers for fans of Aliens, Total War and the stealthy action title, Alpha Protocol.

Chart Track UK: Burnout Paradise sizzles on top, January 28 - Image 1Drivers, start your engines! It sure looks like there's a new top-notcher on the UK's gaming preference, and it doesn't have anything to do with soccer balls, plumber long jumps or WWII reincarnates. Burnout Paradise from publisher Electronic Arts left the competition in a flurry of dust and burning rubber, and even set EA at a tie for the most games on the top ten with Nintendo. Downloadable content now available for Bioshock from 2K Games for the Xbox 360 and PC - Image 1It was announced last week that Bioshock's getting some lovin' with new downloadable content for both Xbox 360 and PC versions. The new content is now available for download. The Xbox 360 version will also be getting a new achievement goal and the PC version will finally be getting the long awaited patch. Yamaoka - Image 1 Famed Japanese game music composer Akira Yamaoka of Konami's Silent Hill fame has announced that he is currently working on a new project. He has expanded his role to overall supervision and is now exercising a great deal of creative control on game design. He has also finished work on the anticipated thriller Silent Hill 5 for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360, a game whose musical score he describes as Dolby-quality, but not quite revolutionary.
