A sequel for last year's Tom Clancy's EndWar (PC, PS3, PSP, DS, Xbox 360) is apparently already being developed by the same studio who made the original. This time, the dev team will be focusing on the single-player campaign along with tweaking the combat chain. More from de Plater after the jump.

They may both be stealth-heavy games, but one of the big differences between Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction and Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4 lies in the cutscenes, with the former having none at all. According to one of the game's devs, this was a conscious decision made to improve the gamer's immersion in the story.

I guess we're still playing the "Where in the world is Sam Fisher" game. An update has been made to the so-far cryptic website for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360) title that is set to be delivered by Ubisoft. And yes, it actually does make things a bit clearer, albeit still shrouded in mystery.

Word went round last week that Splinter Cell ConViction (Windows, Xbox 360) was sent "back to the drawing board" after a piece from the latest issue of Xbox 360 World magazine started the whispers. ConViction was delayed to 2008, 2009 last year, but we've heard little since. Ubidays 2008 has come and though Beyond Good and Evil 2, Far Cry 2, and Raving Rabbids managed to sneak some teasers our way, not much word has rolled out from the latest installment to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series.
