If you were beginning to think that Formula One games were starting to lose their spunk, there's some good news for you. Colin McRae's DIRT (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) and Race Driver: GRID (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC) creators Codemasters have secured an official licensing deal with the F1 Administration to develop games based on the world's most popular motorsport. We got an interesting tidbit of information regarding the report on video games made by TV psychologist Tanya Byron. Apparently, the whole study that was released this year had a whopping total amount of about US$ 544,000. Details can be found after the jump.

It seems like SCi Entertainment is finally getting into the role of the reluctant "father", ready to give away his daughter (i.e. Lara Croft) at the altar. It was confirmed recently that SCi will be entertaining the possibility of opening a major business investment in the near future to help get the company back on track. The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) and some of its partners recently conducted a raid which yielded illegally copied Nintendo DS games stored on discs. The boss commented that the report's recommendations are valid today, but when the time comes that brick-and-mortar retailers take a back seat to online stores, things will be done differently to enforce the rating system.
