Top on the UK gaming news is Medal of Honor: Airborne's defense against a trio of invading newcomers. On the week of the release of Midway's Stranglehold, Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword, and Nintendo's Super Paper Mario, the multiplatform WWII shooter from Electronic Arts still manages to attract the most gamers.

In this flying combat sim, you'll be fighting over European World War II skies to take out vital Nazi research facilities to stop the Axis from creating the first nuclear bomb.

This video gives you a taste of what's in store for you when you enter the heat of battle. You'll be flying one of those cool, old-school planes while trying to elude defenses and taking out enemy planes. There's a lot of things to do in this game, and you'll be rewarded with a variety of missions to keep things interesting.
