Beyond Good and Evil - Image 1We seemed to have missed this over the weekend, but just in case you're not one of the tens of thousands of people who've already viewed this on YouTube, here's one that's definitely for the books. It shows some leaked footage from Ubisoft showing what could possibly be an E3 2009 trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2. It's got a lot of action reminiscent of the first game - only now on some high-octane 'roids and ditching the whole stealth aspect, while doing some Mirror's Edge-like free running across a town littered with cops.

Starcraft II - Image 1Remember when Battle Report II for Starcraft II was reported to have been posted, and then revoked later on, at Blizzard's website? Well, today we have the Battle Report 2, and this time, there's no taking it back. Videos after the jump.

Diablo 3 news - Image 1Before we dive into the deep conundrums we prepped within, we'd first like to give full credit to QJ.NET reader refractionpcsx2 - one who managed to tie down one of most plausible theories we've sifted since the Diablo 3 rumors started rolling in like earth from a landslide. Remember the pieces of the "purple walrus" puzzle? Remember their numbers? A new piece popped up while we were away, and it's numbered 16. So now we have 4, 15, 16, and 23. Google the numbers - they're four of six Valenzetti numbers.

ade Raymond and Hideo Kojima's baby: Assassin's Solid - Image 1Remember Hideo Kojima and Jade Raymond's interview from a few months back? Well, we might have been musing about them coming up with a Metal Gear Solid - slash - Assassin's Creed hybrid, and now... well... Let's just say we're pretty amused. In this gameplay video, we see Altair running around a familiar-looking war zone, carrying his own rifle and trying to fight a couple of... nah. Sorry. No spoilers. Anyways, though the video appears to not take itself seriously (clue: April 1, 2008), you can't help but think if there's actually more than meets the eye...

Spore species screenshot - Image 1Will Wright said, "The wait is almost over," referring to Electronic Arts and Maxis' Spore, and from the looks of it, the wait was definitely worth it. Just recently, as new details surface, it has been revealed that the game's PC version (also available on Nintendo Wii, DS, Mac, and Mobile) will have a feature which lets players upload recorded videos to YouTube. Find out what we're talking about at the full article.

Companion Cube from Portal - Image 1Now this is a triumph. A video of Portal's (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) theme song, Still Alive, being sung by the Japanese synthesizer application Vocaloid has surfaced. It's not by Valve, but appropriate translation and a voice very similar to GLaDOS' make it sound very authentic. Check it out at the full article.

Tomb Raider Underworld by Crystal Dynamics for PS3, Xbox360, PC - Image 1 Can't wait to see Lara Croft? Wait no more! We were able to grab hold of these some good quality screenshots of Lara's latest adventure, Tomb Raider Underworld (Xbox360, PS3, PC). These screen captures feature the realistic look of the game. From the looks of it, Lara is able to personify the image of a woman going against the wild.

Ó

As we all know Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare by Activision (for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) will be out on November 5. However, a quite telling video posted on Youtube by user F2sT details a phone call to a local Best Buy employee, which revealed that the Best Buy branch in Westminster, Colorado carries four or five copies of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360. The employee also mentions the phone number of the said branch, so the caller can verify the availability of the Call of Duty 4 copies himself.

Do take note that this may not necessarily mean that the copies of Call of Duty 4 are already placed in the shelves, though. Best Buy Westminster may just have it in stock but will release them to the public on its official November 5 release date. In any case, do check out the video below!
